英语晨读资料10：灵魂遭受煎熬的时刻

Now I know that the time when the soul suffers is also the time when there are the most choices and opportunities in life. The success or failure of anything depends on my attitude when I ask for help, whether I look up or down. If I only play tricks and make all kinds of expedient measures, chances will be lost forever. I will live less affluent, achieve less, suffer more deeply, be more pitiful and be smaller. But if I believe in God, then any suffering will be the turning point of success in my life from now on.
现在我知道，灵魂遭受煎熬的时刻，也正是生命中最多选择与机会的时刻。任何事情的成败取决于我寻求帮助时的态度，是抬起头还是低下头。假如我只会施展伎俩，使出种种权宜之计，那么机会也就永远失去了，我会生活得不那么富裕，成就也不太大，痛苦更深，更加可怜，更加渺小。但是，如果我信奉上帝，那么从此以后，任何苦难都将成为我生命中胜利的转折点。
